Vessels with a length equal or higher than 30 metres have right of way over other vessels. Furthermore ships sailing downstream have priority over those sailing upstream. Crossings from coast to coast, head on situations, overtaking and anchoring are prohibited, unless unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances.
