Refer to charted regulation section numbers. SOUNDING DATUM Soundings are referred to a lake level of 624.58 meters \ 2048.15 feet above mean sea level. LAKE LEVEL The normal winter lake level is 626.3 to 626.6 meters \ 2055 to 2056 feet above mean sea level which is 2.1 meters \ 7 feet above the datum of the soundings. The normal summer lake level is 628.5 to 628.6 meters \ 2062 to 2062.5 feet above mean sea level which is approximately 4.3 meters \ 14 feet above the datum of the soundings. The highest reported level of the lake is 632.7 meters \ 2076 feet above mean sea level which is approximately 8.5 meters \ 28 feet above the datum of the soundings. BRIDGES AND OVERHEAD CABLES Vertical clearances are referred to a lake level of 628.6 meters \ 2062.5 feet above mean sea level. CAUTION During periods of rising lake level, debris stranded on shore is floated and is present in large quantities in the lake. During this period, boats should proceed slowly and cautiously to avoid damage. AIDS TO NAVIGATION Consult U.S. Coast Guard Light List for supplemental information concerning aids to navigation. POLLUTION REPORTS Report all spills of oil and hazardous substances to the National Response Center via 1-800-424-8802 (toll free), or to the nearest U.S. Coast Guard facility if telephone communication is impossible (33 CFR 153). CAUTION - USE OF RADIO SIGNALS (LIMITATIONS) Limitations on the use of radio signals as aids to marine navigation can be found in the U.S. Coast Guard Light Lists and National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency Publication 117. Radio direction-finder bearings to commercial broadcasting stations are subject to error and should be used with caution. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION Consult U.S. Coast Pilot 10 for important supplemental information. CAUTION - TEMPORARY CHANGES Temporary changes or defects in aids to navigation are not indicated.
