This area  has been declared as a protected area because it contains a historical wreck. Due to the  presence of movable cultural heritage within the  the boundaries of the site, it is prohibited for vessels such as ships, boats etc to drop anchor, moor or cast nets in order to prevent any potential destruction.


Bu alan tarihi batık barındırdığı için sit alanı olarak ilan edilmiştir. Sit alanı sınırları içerisinde taşınır kültür varlığı olması sebebiyle, oluşacak tahribata engel olmak adına, gemi, tekne, vb. deniz taşıtlarının çapa, demir ve ağ atması yasaktır.
