MARINE PROTECTED AREA

In the area of:
The entire Strunjan Nature Reserve and 
Rt Madona Underwater Natural Monument 
anchoring and sailing on motor drive is prohibited.

Debeli Rtic Natural Monument:
The following General restrictions apply in the entire area of MPA, which means that it is not allowed:
- Sailing at speeds exceeding 7 knots,
- Using Jet or Underwater Scooters,
- Anchoring in the 200 m coastal area,
- Non-commercial fishing, except fishing from the shore.
In Protection Zone I with underwater reef area are also not permitted: 
In addition to the General restrictions, the following are not permitted in Protection Zone II: 
- Anchoring,
- Sailing with motorised vessels,
- Commercial fishing,
- Diving without a permit.
