The HM Port of Gdanski advises that the pedestrian drawing bridge operates as follows:
1. It is manned 24H, all year round.
2. Until 31 March 2024, the foot draw bridge leading to the Olowianka Island has been opened in hours:
7:00-7:30, 8:00-8:30, 9:00-9:30, 10:00-10:30, 11:00-11:30, 12:00-12:30, 
13:00-13:30, 14:00-14:30, 15:00-15:30, 16:00-16:30, 17:00-17:30, 18:00-18:30. After 18:30 the swing footbridge will be available for vessels on request.
3. In particularly cases, a few-minute changes to the hourly schedule of the bridge opening are allowed.
4. Requests should be submitted on channel 15 VHF (but prior call on channel 14 VHF) or on phone No +48 605 110 452.
5. The bridge is not opened when winds exceed 17,1m/s.
6. Government vessels, i.e. Navy, Border Guard, Maritime Office, Police, Customs, and vessels servicing the port will have the bridge opened on request.
7. Planned operational breaks, emergency, longer opening or closing times of the bridge during mass events will be announced by HM Port of Gdansk (by written message or by VHF).
