The Maritime Office of Szczecin advises mariners that as of June 1, 2022, it started operating a Baltic Pipe Gas Pipeline Monitoring and Warning System. Based on Automatic Identification System (AIS), the monitoring system is transmitting messages to vessels navigating across the pipeline safety area/strip running along it.
