TIDAL STREAMS

The times of slack water coincide closely with
those of high and low water of Cebu. At high 
water, there is usually a period of about 2 hours
of variable currents from 1/4 to 1/2 knots
swinging gradually through south, and at low
water, there is a similar period with the
currents swinging through north. Maximum
velocities are usually midway between high
and low water.
