ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT MITIGATION

The Bay of Masirah is considered to be a hotspot for the endangered resident Humpback whales and other marine life.
Mariners are requested to keep a sharp look out to prevent collision and take necessary measures to reduce noise.
For mitigation purposes, all vessels bound for or from the port of Duqm shall use of the Recommended Deep Draught Route.
