A hydrographic survey has been conducted in this area.

MAGNETIC VARIATION
Approaching the South Magnetic Pole the annual change to the magnetic variation is large (generally greater than 30´ E or W as applicable) and increases rapidly towards the pole.

Mariners should proceed with extreme caution as unidentified hazards may exist.
