CAUTIONS
Shoal patches may be encountered on the banks. These patches are usually of small extent, but may have considerable less water
over them than charted. Mariners are advised to exercise caution accordingly.

The numerous oyster pods and lobster traps in depths less than 50m are marked by small dan buoys attached to nylon lines. 

SUBMARINE CABLES AND PIPELINES
Mariners are advised not to anchor or trawl in the vicinity of submarine cables and pipelines. Pipelines are not always buried and 
their presence may significantly reduce the charted depth. They may also span seabed undulations and cause fishing gear to 
become irrecoverably snagged, putting a vessel in severe danger.
