CHANGING FAIRWAYS
Due to strong currents the fairways are changing continuously.
Actual depth may differ from the charted soundings. The buoyage
is adjusted accordingly.

The beacons mark at least the 2,0 metre depth contour 
(ħApril-October). More beacons can be met than charted.

SPEED RESTRICTIONS
In these waters restrictions for sailing with fast
motorboats and waterskiing are in force.

HARINGVLIETSLUIZEN
Red Lights are shown during sluicing.
During sluicing the waterlevel of the Haringvliet may
fall 5dm in one hour.

CABLES AND PIPELINES
It is prohibited to anchor and trawl in the vicinity of 
submarine cables and pipelines. Pipelines are not always buried 
and their presence may significantly reduce the charted depth. 
They may also span seabed undulations and cause fishing gear to 
become irrecoverably snagged, putting a vessel in severe danger.
