Is declared a Natural Protected Area with the character of National Park, the area known as Arrecifes de Cozumel, located in the Municipality of Cozumel, in the State of Quintana Roo. This area is considered fragile and sensitive environmental systems, for which the general public must abide by the provisions of the respective Management Program and the provisions contained in the Decree published of the Official Gazette of the Federation on June 7th 2000.
