It is declared Natural Protected Area with the character of Flora and Fauna Protection Area Gulf of California Islands, located of the coasts of the states of Baja California, Baja California Sur, Sonora and Sinaloa. These areas are considered fragile and sensitive environmental systems, therefore, the general public must abide by the provisions published in the Decree of the Official Gazette of the Federation of april 17th, 2001.
