Is declared a Natural Protected Area with the character of a National Park, the area known as Bajos del Norte, which is located in the area known as Banco de Campeche in the Gulf of Mexico. The area is composed of a polygon corresponding to the buffer zone, within which a core zone is located. These areas are considered fragile and sensitive environmental systems, therefore, the general public must abide by provisions contained in the Decree published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on January 8th, 2024.
