Bajos del Norte core zone, which is located in the area known as the Campeche Bank in the Gulf of Mexico, is located within the buffer zone. These areas are considered to be fragile and sensitive environmental systems, therefore, the general public must abide by provisions contained in the Decree published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on January 8th, 2024.
