The Caspian Mean Sea Level (CMSL) is calculated by taking
the Mean of the Caspian Sea Level height from 1950 until
1985 collected from Anzali gauge. CMSL is 27.5m lower than
the MSL of Persian Gulf in Shahid Rajaee gauge.
(Based on Iranian Height System IRHS 1998.).
