RESTRICTED AREAS
National authorities advise mariners not to
enter the Restricted Areas around the
following oilfields and installations unless they
have obtained permission.
BARKAN           Oilfield           (29° 45'N 50° 11'E)
BAHRGAN        Oilfield           (29° 56'N 49° 40'E)
HENDIJAN       Oilfield           (30° 01'N 49° 44'E)
NOWROUZ       Oilfield           (29° 35'N 49° 25'E)

SUBMARINE CABLES AND PIPELINES
Mariners are advised not to anchor or trawl
in the vicinity of submarine cables and
pipelines. Piplines are not always buried
and their presence may significantly reduce
the charted depth. They may also span
seabed undulations and cause fishing gear
to become irrecoverably snagged, putting a
vessel in severe danger.
