Campbell Bay, an inlet exposed SE, lies on the SW side of Kol-ta-pain, a promontory SE of Pigeon Island. Campbell Bay Harbour was greatly damaged in 2004 during Tsunami

Campbell Bay Harbour. A jetty of length 103m on its outer side with a least depth of 6.9m is available for berthing small ships. The jetty is connected to the mainland by an approach path which is 217m long. Post Tsunami in 2004, the approach road to the jetty has broken away from the inner face of the jetty for a length of 88m, the debris of the fallen portion is lying on the W side of the approach path with a least depth of 4.5m above it. The jetty crane is non-operational.  However, transfer of personnel and material can be arranged by the port office by means of lighters and dumb barges available at the jetty. Although the jetty has developed cracks, ships are seen to have been berthed alongside. Safe anchorage may be obtained at a point 5 cables from the break water light bearing 110° for ships drawing upto 4.0m. There are limited telephone facilities at a short distance from the approach road to the jetty.

Chisen light (6° 59'.05N, 93° 55'.5E), almost obscured with dense foliage is exhibited on the SW side of Campbell Bay close within its entrance.

Chisen Light 

There is a L-shaped jetty, with a depth of 5m at its head situated on the NE side of the bay; it is usually only used in good weather. A breakwater extends in a SW direction from Man Point. 

Breakwater Light

A light is exhibited from the seaward end of the breakwater at position (6° 59'.31N, 93° 56'.18’E). Two Leading Lights situated close together at the head of Campbell Bay and in line bearing 323¾°  lead in from seaward to a position 4 cables SW of the jetty.

Cone Rock

Cone rock is 10m high and lies 3.8 cable ENE of Breakwater Light and is Radar Conspicuous.

Cerberus Rock

Cerberus Rock is a 5m high rock with a beacon like structure on it, lying 4.3 cables SE of the Breakwater Light with a rock lying  submerged with a least depth of 0.4m over it about 4 cables SE.

Anchorage may be obtained in depths of 12m 3.8 cables SW of Cerberus Rock. However the anchorage is open to sea and is not suitable during NE monsoons.

Rosen Point Jetty

Rosen Point lies 2.16 miles SSE of Break water light, there is a small concrete jetty near Rosen Point. The jetty is used by local boats and fishermen.

Boat Rock, is an isolated 5m high rock lying 1.18 mile SE of Rosen Point, has three smaller rocks close SW. Mariners are advised to exercise caution as the rock is not visible at times from sea.

Boat Rock & Twin Rock 

Twin Rock & Snake Rock

Snake Rock a 11 m high prominent rock, lies 1.8 cables ESE of Rosen Point and Twin Rocks a 4 m high pair of rocks lie 5 cables SW of Rosen point. 

Anchorage, sheltered from SW, may be obtained at Matait Anla but space is restricted by rocks and shoals.

Matait Anla, the S indentation in the bight, lies 7.6 miles SSW from Rosen Point.
