OMISSION OF CERTAIN NAVIGATIONAL AIDS AND WRECKS

CURRENTS
The currents are of monsoonal origin but tend to follow the trend of coast. In December and January the sets are north -westerly with rate of upto 1 kn . In Jully and August, when the SW monsoon is well established south-easterly sets with rates of upto 2 kn are experienced. Exceptionally, on shoresets of upto 1.5kn are experienced during the NE monsoon and upto 3 kn during the SW monsoon.
