CURRENTS
The currents are of monssoonal origin, but tend to follow the trend of the coast. In December and January sets are north-westerly with rates of upto 1knot. In July and August, when the SW monsoons is well established, south-easterly sets with rates of upto 2knots are experienced. Exceptionally onshore sets of upto 1,5 knots are experienced during the NE monsoon and upto 3knots during the SW monsoon.
