ASL - ARCHIPELAGIC SEA LANES

Archipelagic Sea Lanes (ASL), as defined in UNCLOS, 
have been designated in this area. Vessels
exercising archipelagic sea lanes passage shall not
deviate more than 25 miles from the charted axis
line and shall not navigate, while in archipelagic sea
lanes passage, to shoreward of the areas indicated.
Where a traffic separation schemes exists in a
narrow channel in such a sea lane, rules for the use
of traffic separation schemes apply. It should be
noted that the axis line of the ASL does not
indicate the deepest water, any route or track
recommended.

ALKI - ALUR LAUT KEPULAUAN INDONESIA

Alur Laut Kepulauan sebagaimana didefinisikan oleh
Hukum Laut Internasional (UNCLOS) telah
ditetapkan didalam peta ini kapal yang melintas di
Alur Laut Kepulauan Indonesia tidak boleh
menyimpang lebih dari 25 mil dari garis sumbu dan
tidak boleh berlayar melewati tanda.
Bila TSS (Traffic Separation Schemes) terdapat di
Alur Laut Kepulauan maka aturan TSS yang berlaku.
Garis sumba Alur Laut Kepulauan tidak menunjukkan
laut terdalam, rute maupun trek kapal yang
disarankan.
