INNER HARBOUR

Torquay Inner Harbour is entered through tidal gates
which will be lowered, subject to operational hours,
from approximately 3·5 hours before, to 3 hours after
high tide. When the gates are lowered there is a minimum
depth of 2·2 metres. Water retained within the Inner
Harbour provides depths of 1·0 - 2·8 metres. Traffic
signals at the entrance indicate when it is safe to
enter.
