Dredging activities are taking place in the Port Bustamante basin and areas of the ship channel
from the East Channel leading into the basin. The operation will be ongoing 24 hours a day.
All marine craft are required to proceed with caution when navigating the channel during this period.
Small craft including yachts and fishing vessels, must keep well clear of the dredger when engaged
in the dredging operation. Vessels may contact the Pilot Office on VHF Channel 11 for additional
information on the dredging activities. Vessels wishing to communicate directly with the dredger
may contact them on VHF Channels 11 or 16.
