TIDAL STREAMS

The approximate time and turn of the tidal stream may be obtained by applying the intervals given on the tidal information lines to the time of HW at Gibraltar. The tidal stream may attain a velocity of 3 knots inshore of the inner tidal information line, the velocity decreasing offshore to less than 1.5 knots at the outer tidal information line.
