ORFORD HAVEN

1. Orford Haven entrance is dangerous in strong onshore
winds, especially on the ebb which runs very strongly
out of the river at springs. The buoys are moved to meet
frequent changes in the position of the channel, which
may not be as charted.

2. Local knowledge is required for navigation inwards of
Orford Haven Buoy.
