MARINE PARK & PROTECTED AREAS

All the islands within Egyptian Red Sea terriorial waters are
declared Protected Areas. It is forbidden to anchor, fish, cause
pollution, leave litter or disturb the marine life within 1

nautical mile of each of these islands. Furthermore, a permit and
the payment of park fees is required before entering the area
around Jiftun al Kabir (27°14´·50N, 33°54´·00E).
