INCOMPLETELY SURVEYED

Much of this area has been compiled from old leadline surveys as
indicated. In particular, the mid-nineteenth century survey of
much of the east coast was not progressed right up to the shoreline;
the sea breaks heavily along this coast, which is dangerous to
approach.
