INADEQUATE SURVEYS

Much of this cell has been compiled from old lead-line surveys.
In particular, the mid-nineteenth century survey of much of the
coast between Saint David's Point and Bedford Point was not
progressed right up to the shoreline; the sea breaks heavily along
this coast, which is dangerous to approach.
