Steeply rising coral patches may exist in this area. Fresh water springs, which 
can cause false readings from echo sounders (see the Mariner's Handbook), are 
also known to exist. Mariners are advised that insufficient evidence is held in 
the UK Hydrographic Office to distinguish between false and genuine echoes for 
the reported depths shown.
