OILFIELDS

Numerous production platforms, wellheads and associated structures exist in the
Gulf of Paria. Unless otherwise indicated, these usually carry quick or
flashing red lights. These features are not all charted due to their complexity
and frequent change. Mariners are advised to exercise appropriate caution when
navigating within the vicinity of oilfields.
