VOLCANIC ACTIVITY

In the areas centred on 16°41'S, 168°23'E and 16°50's, 168°32'E recent
submarine volcanic activity may have resulted in changes in the
configuration of the seabed. Depths in these areas may differ
considerably from those charted. See Admiralty Sailing Directions
NP 61 for further information.
