SECURITY ZONES

Exclusion zones extend in all directions from the outer edge of each terminal structure. Only tankers and support vessels authorised by the terminal operator or Coalition/Iraqi Security Forces are allowed to enter the exclusion zones.
The zone limits are as follows:
Al Basrah (Al Bakr) Terminal. Exclusion zone 4000m.
Khawr al Amaya Terminal. Exclusion zone 3000m.
SPM 3 Buoy. Exclusion zone 1500m.
Vessels are advised to remain clear of the Exclusion zones. If transit requires entry into the Exclusion zone, vessels are advised to contact the Coalition/Iraqi Security Forces via marine VHF channels 69/16. Anchoring and fishing are prohibited within the Exclusion zones.
