UNCHARTED DANGERS

The depiction of reefs and dangers within the atolls is based
chiefly on satellite imagery and aerial photography. Depths
within the atolls are taken almost entirely from leadline
surveys of 1835. Many uncharted dangers may therefore exist
and mariners are advised to navigate with extreme caution.
