CURRENTS

Predominant currents average ½ to 1 knot. They are of low constancy
to the west of the islands and moderate constancy to the north-east.
Sets are generally in a northerly direction. Southerly sets may be
experienced during September to November to the North East of the islands. 
A strong westerly current is experienced on the southern shores of the Islands,
