The Al Khalij (Surt) Power and Desalinisation Station is now operational in position, 31°13’·100N., 16°20’·850E.
An anchorage area, SPM and pipelines have been established offshore of the plant as follows:

A circular anchorage area, diameter 1NM, has been established, centred on position 31°14’·700N., 16°22·200E.

A SPM mooring light-buoy with ground tackle, Mo(U)15s Horn(U)30s, has been established in position 31°14’·431N., 16°21’·229E.

Centred on the SPM is:

A vessel manoeuvring area, radius 624m, for vessels with a maximum draft of 11·3m, also

Within a radius of 225m exist two floating hoses equipped with winker lights every 36·6m.
The depth of water at the SPM is reported to be:
26·7m at High Water
25·5m at MSL
24·5m at Chart Datum

Connecting the SPM to shore are Oil and Gas submarine pipelines which have been established between the following positions:

31°14’·431N., 16°21’·229E. (SPM)

A water intake submarine pipeline has been established between the following positions:
