UNCHARTED DANGERS

The depiction of reefs and dangers within the atolls is based chiefly on satellite imagery and aerial photography. Depths within the atolls are taken almost entirely from leadline surveys of 1837. Uncharted dangers may exist in these areas and mariners are advised to navigate with particular caution.
