OESTERRENDEN (EASTERN CHANNEL) -EAST BRIDGE
Ships of 20 metres or more in length shall
use the traffic lanes in the traffic separation
scheme. Before entering the traffic separation
scheme the speed should be reduced to maximum 
20 knots. Vessels of less than 20 metres in length 
and sailing vessels are recommended to avoid using
the traffic lanes and instead use the other bridge
spans.
Fishing is prohibited in the traffic lanes in the
traffic separation scheme.
Free vertical clearance in the traffic lanes is
65 metres.
Free vertical clearance in the spans from the eastern
pylon (bridge tower) towards Sjaelland:53, 46, 43, 39,
36, 32, 29, 25, 22, 18, 15, 11 and 8 metres.
Free vertical clearance in the spans from the western
pylon towards Sprogoe: 52, 44, 40, 36, 32, 28, 24 and
20 metres.
The depth within a distance of 10 metres from the two 
pylons is only 3 metres.
