MARITIME TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM. Port Captain´s Office in Mejillones operates a VTS, which provides information service to the navigation (INS). The vessels entering the zone of responsibility of the Mejillones VTS , must communicate with Mejillones Radio CBA-22 on channel 16, and indicate the station name, call sign, ETA at the Pilot Station.
