SATELLITE DERIVED POSITIONS
Positions obtained from satellite navigation systems referred to WGS 84 Datum can be plotted directly onto this chart.  Caution must be exercised in the transfer of geographical positions to other charts not in terms of WGS 84 Datum.

TIDAL STREAMS
Strong tidal streams can be expected within the reef passage during most states of the tide. Streams are strongest during mid-flood and ebb tides. The passage should not be transited with an ocean swell greater than 1.5 metres.
