Undetected PINGO-LIKE FEATURES (PLF's), hazardous to navigation, may exist in the areas outlined
by magenta lines and designated "P". Any such PLF could reduce the depth to approximately
30 per cent of that shown, e.g. where a depth of 50m is charted, a depth of 15 m could exist nearby.
An echo sounder may provide little or no warning when approaching a PLF.
