1.Depths of the river often change because of deposition.Both sides of the river entrance,
which are low and flat and submerged up to 2-3km behind the low coastline at spring tide,
are difficult to be identified.
2.Approaching vessels from sea may identify the river entance by the color of sea water.
Encountering yellow water means the river entrance is not far.The river depth 0.2-3.2m,
fine sand and shells,may be entered by small crafts at HW.Care should be taken on account
of variation of the river course.The river is icebound from December to next March each year.
