Of the tidal streams in internal side of Qingdao Gang and Jiaozhou Wan,the flood begins at LW running into the bay,and the ebb at HW running outward.Their maximum rates are 3 knots at the entrance,1-2 knots in the inner bay. The turns of the tidal streams take place gradually later from the entrance eastward.Within 10 miles eastward of the entrance,the east-going stream begins 1-2 hours after HW and the west-going stream 5-4 hours before HW.
