Almirante Alves Cāmara Terminal maneuvering area should not be used for anchorage, anchorage at this area is only justified in emergency cases for a short time period.  
Ships must maneuver in the maneuvering area and the access channel, close to the terminal, with caution at the use of its propulsion power, in order to avoid effects that may be caused by ships berthed receiving oil.
