SERGIPE OIL BASIN
There are numerous maritime platforms, submarine pipes, monobuoys, anchor leg mooring and intense traffic of support vessels to production and prospecting of oil and gas. To minimize collision risk and environmental damage, the ships not involved on support tasks must avoid navigating in the area. Anchorage in the area is allowed only in the designated anchorage areas. It is prohibited to fish on the nearby of the submarine ducts and cables.

The oil and gas production platforms exhibit night signalization composed by fixed red light on top and rhythmic white light indicating the "U" letter on Morse code - Mo(U)B. It is prohibited the unauthorized navigation in the security zones represented around the platforms.
