ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AREAS: Marine Environmental Protection Areas (APA) from São Paulo State coastline were created by Decrees No 53,525, 53,526 and 53,527, of 08/10/2008. Fishing with fishing trawler, air compressor or  any life support equipment is prohibited, in any way, except the area around Marine State Park of laje de Santos where any type of fishing is not allowed, in accordance with Resolution SMA-21, of 16/04/2012.
