The Natural Monument Arquipélago das Ilhas Cagarras is a federal protection federal conservation unit created by Law 12,229/2010 formed by the formed by the islands: Palmas, Comprida, Cagarra, Redonda, Filhote da Cagarra and Filhote da Redonda, as well as a marine area of 10 meters around each island.
