ECOLOGICAL SITE: The Federal Decree nº 94.656, issued on 20/07/1987, created Tupinambás Ecologiacal Site, comprising islets, islands, and ledges. Public visitation is prohibited except for educational purposes, in accordance with the provisions in Management Plan of the unit or specific rule. Scientific research depends on prior approval of the responsible organization.
