ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AREA: The federal Decree, unnumbered, of 23/10/1997 created the Environmental Protection Area of Costa dos Corais aiming to prohibit activities including the water sports that involve killing, capturing or molesting of rare species of the regional biota, mainly manatee-marine.
