DEPTHS- ZULFIQUAR CHANNEL- The depths in Zulfiquar Channel is constantly changing due to siltation and lack of maintenance dredging. Buoyage in the approach channel are often moved to reflect changes in depths and may be displaced by severe weather conditions. Mariners are warned to navigate with caution and contact Hiran Point pilot station for instructions before approaching Mongla Fairway Buoy (21 26.9N, 89 34.0E).
