TIDAL STREAM

Between Garden Island and Fort Denison the ebb
stream often runs strongly, particularly after
heavy rains. Ships proceeding into Woolloomooloo 
Bay when the ebb is running should give the 
northwest corner of Garden Island a wide berth, 
and ships berthing at the Oil or Cruiser Wharves 
should make a generous allowance for the ebb 
stream.
